I heart california diaries.

I remember how I scored Dawn, Diary one through an old friend who went to a different high school than me. I would always gaze at it until one day, she reached down and took it off the shelf and went, "Here, have it." I was 13. I scurried home and read it. I was in love instantly. I had already read the Baby-Sitters Club, so I knew who Dawn, Sunny and Maggie was. Sunny has been my favourite character ever since. Most people hate her, but I love her. I now own 13/15 books, after six years of trying to get them all. Dawn, Diary 3 and Ducky, Diary 3 is all I have left. I think the series has inspired this bug inside of me to move to California, or anywhere in the US like I have been dreaming about.

I now write California Diaries fanfiction. It took me 4 years after signing up to the website to even consider writing anything in California Diaries/Baby-Sitters Club fandom, but I drank a bottle of concrete and just did it. I've never looked back. I even asked ff.net for California Diaries' own category, which it got about a month ago! I'm now in the process of re-writing CD, with new outlooks from different characters. It's so hard, but I'm enjoying it.
