Obviously, doctor, you've never been a 13 year old girl

The Virgin Suicides.
Great movie, great book.
One thing different between the two is that Mary, doesn't actually die in the book. She survives and then later kills herself.
I love that movie. I'm pretty sure it started my love for indie flicks along with Little Miss Sunshine, which is pretty much my #1 favourite movie of all time. Dwayne - you're yummy. He started my love of Nietzsche. Frank started my love of Proust. Since then, I've wanted to study philosphy. I love learning new things, but I've decieded not to go to university. I'm not a good studier. I didn't do much homework during high school, earning the term "the waifer" by my biology teacher in grade 12. I guess that's why I got a OP23. Which is 2 more than the lowest score before it doesn't count. I think our grading system in Australia sucks. I wish I went to an American high school. I used to dream about it while I was attending an Australian one. I was so so so insanly jealous of everyone who lived in America - I still am. That's why I'm applying for an American Green Card. I know the odds of me actually getting one is silm, but it doesn't hurt to try.
I'm meant to be writing my fanfiction, like usual. I'm re-writing 3 stories... hard task considering one is complete and two haven't been updated in two years.

  1. Cool write up. I never saw the movie but meant to...read the book but I kind of got annoyed because I honestly didn't see why they were all killing themselves, and every time I try to reread it, I can't help thinking that yeah, we all hated being 13, but these are kind of First World Problems. I do want to see the movie at some point...though Sofia Coppola does kind of irritate me...have heard it was good though.
